Copa de Espa\u00f1a de Halterofilia masculina y femenina.<br> En este evento pueden participar los 15 mejores levantadores masculinos y las 15 femeninas, un total de 30 atletas segun el r\u00e1nking nacional de la Federaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Halterofilia. As\u00ed es la competici\u00f3n de m\u00e1ximo nivel en \u00e1mbito nacional que este a\u00f1o a su vez fue clasificatoria para el pr\u00f3ximo cto. de Europa Absoluto q se celebra el pr\u00f3ximo mes de abril en Mosc\u00fa.<br> Galicia logr\u00f3 clasificar para el campeonato cuatro levantadores, dos masculinos y dos femeninas, todos del Club Halterofilia Coru\u00f1a y que son Martin Liste, Victor Castro, Irene Martinez e Irene Blanco. Esta \u00faltima renunci\u00f3 a la participaci\u00f3n para no interrumpir su preparaci\u00f3n para el pr\u00f3ximo Campeonato del Mundo Junior en Bucarest,  Rumania, a la cual ha sido seleccionada.<br> De los nuestros en mejor posici\u00f3n cerr\u00f3 la competici\u00f3n Victor Castro, logrando el sexto puesto. El joven Martin Liste finaliz\u00f3 en el noveno lugar. El ganador del campeonato fue el andaluz David Sanchez.<br>En lo que se refiere a las femeninas Irene Martinez, que lleg\u00f3 al campeonato apenas con 6 semanas de entrenamiento despu\u00e9s de la intervenci\u00f3n quir\u00fargica de su mu\u00f1eca por una lesi\u00f3n, fue s\u00e9ptima en la clasificaci\u00f3n final.
